Polda Metro Jaya recently announced the cessation of investigation into the death of a young diplomat from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Arya Daru Pangayunan. The decision to halt the inquiry comes after several investigative efforts revealed no criminal elements related to the incident.

Kombes Budi Hermanto, the Head of Public Relations Division of Polda Metro Jaya, confirmed that the ongoing investigations, including evidence collection and witness testimonies, had ultimately concluded without identifying any criminal activity. “The results of our assessments found no crime occurring in this case,” he stated during a phone interview.

In the unfortunate event of Arya’s demise, it was noted that if the family were to provide new and valid evidence, the investigation could be reopened. Therefore, the door remains open should any further credible data come to light.
